To disconnect the device from the lock, you must be within Bluetooth range of the keypad.
1) Open the Yale Home app.
2) Tap the gear in the toolbar and select “Keypad Settings.”
3) Select "Reset Keypad" under Utilities (you may need to scroll down the list).
4) Select “Reset”. The keypad will then be reset.
5) The message “Reset successfully” will appear on the screen. This completes the disconnection process and your keypad is no longer connected to your lock.
Resetting a Yale Smart Keypad 2 will delete all access codes associated with that keypad.
If the wrong code is entered too many times, will my Yale Smart Fingerprint Keypad be locked?
Yes, to increase security, if an incorrect code is entered five times, the keypad will be locked for five minutes and will not accept any further attempts to enter a code during this period.
