Is my Yale alarm insurance approved?
To be Insurance approved the system would need to be a graded alarm and comply with the European standard EN 50131
All of our alarms are self -monitored and self-install, to ensure no monitoring fees, they are not graded and therefore do not comply with the standard.
Please check with your individual insurance providers if a graded system is required.
Basic Functionality
There are no lights on my Door Contact / Keypad after I have changed the batteries
Please ensure the battery is inserted in the correct manner, see the picture below.
Step 1
Go into your programme menu (blue menu button, then enter your pin code followed by the tick key), to prevent an alarm activation. Then continue to change the batteries.

It has to be 2G voice compatible.

What App do I need for the Yale HSA6500 Alarm?
To control your alarm using your smartphone or tablet you need the Yale GSM Control App. The app requires Requires iOS 6.1 or later and is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.
